Want to know where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had dinner tonight?

At Robert de Niro’s Appartment just around the corner from where we live. We just came along on our way home when we saw a bunch of journalists and passers-by standing in front of the building - we asked them and they told us that they are inside at de Niro’s.

At about eight, when we left home, Caroline Kennedy, the daughter of J.F. Kennedy, came out of the San Remo just in the moment when we came around the corner (almost ran into her arms) … also lots of cameras flashing etc. but no security or anything. Plus they didn’t climb into a limo, but just walked away - walked, imagine!!

I’m sorry your time in NYC is almost over as I’ve enjoyed reading your blog for the past months. You have certainly discovered some unusual spots. NYC is a culture shock to us, too, when we visit. If I were there now I would be sure to check out the Christmas windows at Macy’s and Bloomingdales (saw them on TV last night), see the tree and skaters at Rockefeller Center (you could skate), and visit FAOSchwartz toy store (thinik it’s on 5th Avenue.XMAS in NYC

Hi, you two!

I’m afraid Munich will seem rather provincial to you after living in Manhattan, but we’re still looking forward to having you back home, at least for a while. Enjoy your last two weeks in the big town!
