Election Day

Today is the big day that will decide in which direction American politics will go in the next years and who will elect the next lifetime members for Supreme Court. I found that in the last elections the betting markets were a better indicator for the results than polls. So looking at the Iowa Electronic Market and Intrade both say the same thing about the House: They predict a 80% chance for a victory of the Democrats. For the Senate they give the Republicans a 70% chance of holding the majority although the figures for the closest races in Missouri, Tennessee and Virginia (the Maccaca-Race) are still changing wildly.

So we will have an exciting evening here…
